BAvril Ramona Lavigne born 27 September 1984 is a Canadian and French singer-songwriter. She was born in Belleville, Ontario, and spent most of her youth in the town of Napanee. By the age of 15, she had appeared on stage with Shania Twain; by 16, she had signed a two-album recording contract with Arista Records worth more than $2 million. In 2002, when she was 17 years old. In July 2013, the title of Lavigne’s fifth studio album was announced to be eponymous in her name and was released in November 2013. Lavigne later revealed the cover art for the album on 8 August 2013 via her Instagram account and the official track listing on 5 September 2013.
